98 CD-ROM before you begin.
A USB cable is not included with your Brother machine. Before you can
set up the USB interface, you must purchase a standard USB cable. Or, if
you prefer to set up the bundled parallel cable, please see Using the
Bundled Parallel Cable to connect the MFC to the PC, page 12-10.

After you have set up the MFC and checked that it is working properly,
make sure your MFC is turned on and your PC is turned off.
