page 21 for further details on setting up TCP/IP on the printer.
Telnet into the printer NIC, login as root, and execute these commands:
store rprinter add
PServerName printernumber
destination
e.g.: for an RPRINTER servicing printer 0 of the PSERVER.NLM called
PServer1 and sending jobs to the Ethernet Interface destination d1prn:
store rprinter add PServer1 0 d1prn
NOTE: When the IPDS feature is installed, queue name ‘d4prn’ is not
available.
Reset the NIC:
reset
Option 3: If you only have Novell protocol available, use the npsh utility.
npsh into the printer NIC, login as root, and execute these commands:
store rprinter add
PServerName printernumber
destination

store rprinter add PServer1 0 d1prn

2. Login to the NetWare tree as a user with sufficient rights to create/
manipulate the necessary printing objects (PSERVER, Printer, Print
Queue). Change to the NDS context in which you want to create/
manipulate these printing objects.
3. Enter PCONSOLE. If necessary, change to the NDS context in which
you want to create/manipulate these printing objects.
4. From "Available Options" menu, select "Print Queues".
5. In "Print Queues" menu, press INSERT to add a new queue to the list
of queues. Type in any desired name of this queue, press ENTER,
then specify its queue volume when prompted.
