The background for translu-
cent paper (vellum) is dirty.
More than 50 copies are being
made of originals longer than
1189mm (46.9") with solid
block of color (2mm × 900mm
(0.08" × 35.4") or larger.)
Adjust the fuser setting to
match the paper type. See
"Fusing Adjustment: Paper
Tray" in the System Settings
manual.
Streaks, scratches, or wrinkles
appear in areas of solid black
color.
The paper has been changed
from plain paper to translu-
cent paper (vellum), or from
translucent paper (vellum) to
plain paper.
After switching from plain pa-
per→ to translucent paper
(vellum) wait one minute. Af-
ter switching from translucent
paper (vellum) → to plain pa-
per wait two minutes before
making copies.
Shadows appear on the cop-
ies.
The original is a two sided
original, or image density set-
ting is too dark.
Adjust the image density set-
ting. See P.41 “Adjusting Copy
Image Density”
The copies are blurred. Continuous copies have been
made on small sized paper.
Wait about two minutes, and
then try copying again.
