9-5 Department Code Enabling
To track machine use, you can allocate a four-digit department code to each user. If functior
54 is enabled, the department code is requested before each transmission or polling, am
the department codes for each operation are listed on the TCR (see page 10-1).
If you disable this function, the “DEPT CODE 0000 KPADIN” prompt will not appear durin{
routine use.
