9-13 Clearing Memory Files
To make room in the memory for a document that you want to store, or for a confidential
message you may be expecting, you may erase some lower-priority documents.
Before erasing a file, You might wish to view the contents of that file to check whether You
really want to erase it.”To do ~his, do the following.

Press the Function key then enter 75.
Press Yes.
Enter the file number.
Example: Filel , press 1.
Press Yes (or press No if you entered the wrong
number; go back to step 3).
Press Copy (or press No to cancel this operation
and go back to step 3).
The message that you stored in this file will now be
printed.
Note: SAF stands for Store and Forward.
To erase a memory file, do the following:

Press the Function key then enter 67.
Press Yes.
Enter the file number.
Example: File 1, press 1.
Press Yes (or press No if you entered the wrong
number; go back to step 3).
Press Clear (or press No to cancel the operation).
The file is erased, an updated SAF File List is print-
ed, and the machine returns to standby.
The above procedures cannot be used on received
confidential files.
