9-9 Programming Groups
You can designate more than one remote terminal for polling reception, memory transmis-
sion or transfer request. If you regularly poll or transfer to the same group of destinations
(for example, your branch offices), it may be convenient for you to be able to designate all
these destinations with only a few keystrokes. This can be done with preprogrammed
groups.
You can program 7 groups. Each group may contain as many destinations as you want.
However, groups with more than 30 stations cannot be used for transfer request, and
groups with more than 100 stations cannot be used for polling reception or memory trans-
mission.
Only ten full telephone numbers can be stored in groups.
The following procedure applies both to programming new groups, or modifying existing
ones.

Press the Function key and enter 61 at the keypad,

Enter the number of the group that you want to
program (or modify).
Example: 1

Press No to go on to function 62.

If you want to give the group a label or modify the
existing one, press Yes.

Press No to ignore this step. Go to step 6.
Type in the required label (up to 20 characters),
using the Quick Dial keypad and the ten-key pad.
