About the uninstallvcs program
You can uninstall VCS from all nodes in the cluster or from specific nodes in the
cluster using the uninstallvcs program. The uninstallvcs program does not
automatically uninstallVCS enterpriseagents, but offers uninstallationif proper
RPMs dependencies on VRTSvcs are found.
If uninstallvcs program does not remove an enterprise agent, see the
documentationfor thespecific enterpriseagent forinstructions onhow toremove
it.
Preparing to uninstall VCS
Review the following prerequisites before you uninstall VCS:
■ Before you remove VCS from any node in the cluster, shut down the
applications that depend on VCS. For example, applications such as Java
Console or any high availability agents for VCS.
■ Before youremove VCSfrom fewer than allnodes ina cluster, stopthe service
groupson the nodes fromwhich you uninstall VCS.You must also reconfigure
VCS on the remaining nodes.
