Recording and Reviewing Monitoring Data
The signalling data of the active data flow can be recorded in a special
recording file for subsequent evaluation and/or offline analysis. This
recording feature can be used in conjunction with or as an alternative to
online monitoring.
Preliminary Steps
The Protocol Tester has been properly connected to the data line and
turned on. The modules booted without errors and the application has
been started.
Once the autoconfiguration has terminated successfully, the Data
Flow Window appears (refer to “Preliminary Steps” in the previous
section). Make sure you are in the Measurement Scenarios pane.
Start Recording
The right side of the window Measurement Scenarios contains a
pipeline branch with the processing element Recording File at the
right end of the pipeline, which displays a file icon. NONE signifies that
no recording file has been created.
