USER MANUAL
Volume status messages include the following:
• Good—Indicates the volume is accessible and hard drive is functioning normally.
• Failed—Indicates a volume cannot be started automatically, the disk may be
damaged or the file system may be corrupt.
• Resyncing—Occurs when creating a mirror or when a mirrored volume is being
resynchronized.
• Formatting—Indicates volume is being formatted.
• Degraded—Missing one drive in a RAID 1 or RAID 5 configuration.
• Recovering—The failed drive is being copied to a working drive in a RAID 1 or
RAID 5 configuration.
To display more detailed information, click on an underlined status.
To modify the volume:
1. Click the Manage Volume tab.
2. Click the Modify icon next to the volume you want to modify. The Volume &
Raid Management page appears.
3. Select a RAID level.
4. Click Submit.
To delete a volume:
1. Click the Delete icon.
2. Click OK.
Note: Only ExtendVolume can be deleted.
