TVM-1600 Endeleo Managed TV Distribution Hub
Learning the Device’s Control Functions
To learn a device’s control functions (i.e. play, stop, pause etc.):
1. Ensure a console session has been opened on the TVM-1600.
The configuration settings for the Terminal session are:
2. Login to the TVM-1600.
3. At the command prompt enter the following;
r xx hub
XX is the IR code.
For example, if learning commands for a DVD player, you might want to learn include Play,
Pause and Stop.
The commands that would need to be entered are below;
4. Push Enter to execute the command. The process will then guide you through what to do;
Point the remote control at the IR port (right window only) on the front of the TVM-1600 and
press the appropriate key e.g. power off from the remote when prompted (FIG. 35).
Continue to enter commands for the device i.e. when the previous command has been learned
type in r xx hub (where XX is the IR code from the Endeleo IR Codes table to learn another
command.

Again, point the remote control at the IR port (Right Window Only) on the front of the TVM-
1600 and press the appropriate key, e.g. power on this time from the remote when prompted.
