Serial String Control
Overview
The TVM system has the ability to control display devices via RS232. With the proper setup at the
TVM-RX03 a user can send serial strings to the display device.
To access the serial string toolbar;
1. Click again on the control link if the Messaging toolbar is displayed (FIG. 57). If the Messaging
toolbar is not displayed, click the Control toolbar link until Serial String becomes visible (FIG. 57).
2. Type the correct serial string command which is to be issued to the display device attached to the
RX, in the text box.
3. Click the port(s) checkbox to the right of screen you would like to send the string to
