Loading a Previously Saved IR File
Previously saved IR Files can be uploaded to the TVM-1600;
1. At the command prompt, navigate to the location where the IR File is saved.
2. Enter the following command to put the file on a port on the TVM-1600 (FIG. 45):
tftp –i [IP address of hub] put [name of ir table].XXX
Where XXX is the port number the TVM-RX03 is connected to.
3. Upon completion a successful transfer message is displayed (FIG. 46).
Copying an IR File For Uploading To Different TVM-RX03s
It may be necessary to copy the file iXXX.001 to other files named iXXX.002 through iXXX.016 in order
to upload the IR files to TVM-RX03 units on all ports of the TVM-1600.
For example, if you used tftp to get an IR file from a TVM-RX03 unit on port 1, your file will have a
.001 file extension.
To send this file to a TVM-RX03 on port 16 it would need a file extension of .016.
To copy an IR File to different TVM ports;
1. At the command prompt on the PC navigate to where the IR File is saved.
2. Use the Copy command (FIG. 47) to copy the IR files to different extensions;
copy iXXX.001 iXXX.016 <enter>
XXX is the file name of the IR File (e.g. iSonyLCD)
.001 represents the port number of the TVM-1600, where the IR File resides.
- and -
XXX is the file name of the IR File (e.g. iSonyLCD)
.016 represents the port number where the IR protocol is to be copied to on the TVM-1600.
3. Upon completion a successful transfer message is displayed (FIG. 48).
