Scheduling Events for Inputs and Devices
The hub has an on board clock enabling scheduled events to be created at a predetermined time in the
future. Up to 16 events can be scheduled at a time.
Creating a scheduled event requires two actions and uses the global control toolbars at the top (Inputs)
and bottom (Commands) of the pages;
Schedule Link at the top of the page is to schedule Inputs, Devices or TVM to be displayed at
a particular time and
The Schedule Link at the bottom of the page is to schedule commands to be executed at a
particular time.
The event (channel changing, port locking or device control) is selected in the same way as described
previously, as are the ports that this is to be applied to.
Scheduling an Input
Inputs can be scheduled to appear on certain screens if necessary. For example flight information coming
in on Input A to ports 1 and 2 can be changed to Train information at a specific time.
1. From the top toolbar, select the name of the input which the schedule is to be applied to e.g. Flights
(FIG. 53).
2. Select the ports which the input will be displayed on by clicking on the Include check box at the
relevant ports. The ports are highlighted in orange.
3. Click on the Schedule button at the top of the page. The Schedule page should now be visible
(FIG. 54).
If Execute had been selected, the command would be issued immediately. The
Schedule option is used to run the command at a later date.
