Software Configuration For Cascading Hubs
Once the cabling has been connected, it is necessary to perform some minor software configuration
within the UDM Web Browser.
2 Hub Software Configuration

On the hub which will actually display the video source, a check box needs to be activated.
2. Click on the Inputs option.
3. The Input on this Hub which corresponds to the Input being cascaded from the other cascaded hub
is the one which needs to be configured. For example if Input A is being cascaded from Hub 1 then
on Hub 2 in the Inputs section Input A will be configured as Cascade.
4. To configure the cascaded video source to be displayed through this Hub, click on Cascade beside
the relevant Input, in the example above Input A.

beside the relevant Input, in the example above Input A in Hubs 2 and 3.
The Cascade option on the corresponding Input which is actually being cascaded
does not need to be checked in its Hub. Only the Input which will actually display the
video source needs to be configured as Cascade.
