3-24 Removal and Replacement Procedures
CD-ROM Drive or DVD-ROM Drive
To remove the CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive:
1.
Perform the service preparations shown on page 3-2.
2.
Remove the following components:
❏ Side access panel
❏ Front bezel
3.
Remove the retaining screws 1 and slide the drive 2 halfway out.
4.
Disconnect the audio, data, and power cables 3 from the back of the drive.
