Replacing the Display-Panel Brackets

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 11.

Replace the four screws (two on each side) that secure the display-panel
brackets to the display panel.

Connect the LVDS cable to the connector on the display panel.

Replace the display panel. See "Replacing the Display Panel" on page 113.

Replace the display assembly. "Replacing the Display Assembly" on
page 111.
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no
stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to
the computer.

Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and
turn them on.
