Middle Frame

Removing the Middle Frame

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 11.

Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

Remove the rear-stand assembly. See "Removing the Rear-Stand Assembly"
on page 35.

Remove the rear I/O cover. See "Removing the Rear I/O Cover" on page 39.

Remove the side I/O cover. See "Removing the Side I/O Cover" on page 41.

Remove the system-board shield. See "Removing the System-Board
Shield" on page 53.

Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 5 in "Removing the Optical
Drive" on page 27.

Remove the feet. See "Removing the Feet" on page 69.

Remove the 11 screws that secure the middle frame to the chassis.
10
Pry the tabs on the middle frame from the chassis and lift the middle
frame away from the computer.
