connector on your computer).
Removing the Optical Drive

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 11.

Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

Disconnect the power and data cables from the connector on the optical
drive.
4
Remove the screw that secures the optical-drive assembly to the chassis.
5
Slide the optical-drive assembly out of the optical-drive bay.
