Simultaneously press the
MIDI CH
button and
PGM CHANGE
button,
and hold them down for a few moments.
The PC-80’s display will indicate “UTL,” and you will be in Utility mode.

[SYSTEM]
key on the keyboard.
“SY0” appears (blinking) in the display.

Use the
VALUE
encoder or the
[2]
key of the keyboard to choose “
SY2
.”

* If you press any other button without pressing the ENTER button, the setting will be
cancelled.

Use the
VALUE
encoder or press one of the
[0]

[PAN]
keys of the keyboard to specify the
keyboard sensitivity and how you want the velocity values to change.

setting. The
volume will

natural way
according to your playing
strength.
High velocity values will be produced even
if you play the keyboard softly.

1-MEDIUM
The keyboard sensitivity will be normal.
2 1-HEAVY
High velocity values will be produced only
if you play the keyboard strongly.

2-LIGHT
Compared to
curve 1, the
volume will
change more
significantly
for softly played notes.
High velocity values will be produced even
if you play the keyboard softly.
4
2-MEDIUM
The keyboard sensitivity will be normal.

2-HEAVY
High velocity values will be produced only
if you play the keyboard strongly.
6 3-LIGHT
Variations in
your playing
strength will
produce natu-
ral-sounding
changes in volume.
High velocity values will be produced even
if you play the keyboard softly.

3-MEDIUM
The keyboard sensitivity will be normal.

3-HEAVY
High velocity values will be produced only
if you play the keyboard strongly.
