Two-sided printing from your Macintosh
Setting up the HP PhotoSmart printer software for two-sided printing
Before you use the Two-Sided Printing Module for the first time, you need to set up the
printer software for automatic two-sided printing.
Note:
You only need to set up the printer software once.
To set up the HP PhotoSmart printer software:
1. From the
Apple
menu, select
Chooser
.
2. In the left side of the Chooser window, select the
HP PhotoSmart
icon.
3. In the right side of the
Chooser
window, click
Setup
.
4. In the
Duplex Unit
field, select
Installed
.
5. Click
OK
, then close the
Chooser
.
Automatic two-sided printing
1. Load paper in the paper tray. See “Loading paper” on page 11 for details.
2. From your software’s
File
menu, choose
Print
.
The Print dialog box displays.
3. Select the
General
print settings:
• Select the number of copies you want to print.
• Select the pages you want to print.
• Select the print order.
4. Click the drop down menu to select the
Layout
settings you want.
