In release K.14.01 and greater, the use of ACLs to select inbound traffic in a mirroring session
<interface | vlan> monitor ip access-group in mirror command has been deprecated and is
replaced with classifier-based mirroring policies.
Using the CLI, you can configure a mirroring session for a destination device
connected to an exit port on either:
The same switch as the source interface (local mirroring)
A different switch (remote mirroring). The remote switch must be a
ProCurve switch offering the full mirroring capabilities described in this
chapter.
