Cancel a print job
A print job can be canceled from:
●
A program
●
A print queue
●
The Cancel button
NOTE When a print job appears to have started (it shows in the queue), cancel it from the
workstation.
Considerations when canceling printing
●
If the MFP has not started printing, cancel the job within the program that sent the print job.
●
If the print job is waiting in a print queue or print spooler in Windows 2000 or Windows XP, try to
delete the job from the print spooler.
●
If the print job is already printing, press Cancel. The MFP finishes printing any pages that are
already moving through the MFP and deletes the remainder of the print job.
●
If more than one print job is in memory, press Cancel once for each job after the job starts printing.
The Ready light blinks and Canceling print displays in the message area.
