Turning Power ON

Turn the Main ON/OFF Switch to
the ON position.
CAUTION
Allow at least three seconds
after turning the Main ON/
OFF Switch ON or OFF before
pressing it again.

After the power is turned ON, the
fax goes through an initialization
cycle until it is Ready. If not used for
a period of time, the fax unit goes into the
Standby
mode.

If a problem occurs during a transmission causing the lose of system data or
memory, this unit generates a Power Fail Report and emits short intermittent beeps.
