UPC – A 41 (ASCII A)
UPC – D 44 (ASCII D)
UPC – E 45 (ASCII E)

Interleaved 2 of 5 32 (ASCII 2)
Note:
If you use the same characters as in the Terminator Byte, the
message may terminate too soon.
Version Number (UPC-D Only)
The Version Number parameter can be used only if you specified UPC-
D as the bar code type. To include the Version Number in ASCII, scan
the Hex 1 tag; scan the Hex 0 tag if you do not want to include the
Version Number. The default is not to include it.
Program Example
Following is an example of a completed Label Identifiers programming
worksheet. This example shows the following programmed selections.
Identifier Type Unique Prefix added to all bar code data messages
