Step 8 Using the Number of Digits to Skip field, the user must specify the
number of digits (in the dialed stream) the system will strip out (or digits
skipped). For example, deleting 9 and 1 for a long distance call.
—The system looks at digits from left to right and begins stripping on t
he
left.
Step 9 Specify whether the user will hear an overflow tone if all lines in the
selected trunk are full using the Overflow Tone field.
Step 10 Use the Digits to Add field to enter a number that will be added at the
beginning of the number sequence. For example, if the Number Of
Digits To Skip Number is 5, and the Digits To Add number is 214, then
a starting number of 91817-479-9986 would be translated to 214-479-
9986.
