Creating or Editing a Key Template
Step 1 To create a new Key Template, click New. Figure 13-13 and Figure 13-14
display.

—Enter the template's name in the Name field or edit it, if necessary.
—Use the Priority
of Answering Call drop-down menu to specify
whether incoming calls should be answered based on Line Selection,
Dial/Automatic/Manual Intercom lines, or a combination.
—Use the For S
peaker button (SPK) drop-down menu to specify that
the SPK button selects the prime line. (Currently the only available
option.)
—Use the For Answering bu
tton (ANS) drop-down menu to specify
whether the ANS button accepts the Prime Line, Incoming Line, or
Ringing Line preference.

iginating button (ORG) drop-down menu to specify
whether the ORG button accepts the Prime Line or Idle Line
preference, or a combination of the two.

sage Waiting Display drop-down menu to specify
whether a message waiting indicator displays on the top or bottom line
of a station's LCD display.

Key Pattern drop-down menu to specify the number and
type of key patterns assigned to the station.

ttern drop-down menu to specify one of 16 key patterns the
station will use.

choose whether to display a Page Scroll Key [>>>] [PG] on the display.
