Response Polarity
The Response Polarity parameter must be set to match the response polarity of
your host computer.
• Standard does not invert the response signal.
• Inverted inverts the response signal sent to the host computer.
Latch Data On
The Latch Data On parameter specifies whether the data is read on the leading,
middle, or trailing edge of the data strobe signal.
• Leading
• Middle
• Trailing
Prime Signal
Determines whether the parallel port will perform a warm start (a reboot) if the
host asserts the Prime Signal.
• Enable (a warm start will occur)
• Disable (a warm start will not occur)
TOF Action
TOF (Top-of-Form) Action determines whether or not a form feed is performed
before a warm start when the prime signal is asserted from the host. This setting
is used only if the Prime Signal parameter is enabled.
• Reset (form feed on reset)
• Do nothing (no form feed on reset)
Buffer Size in K
This option configures the amount of memory allocated for the Dataproducts
parallel port buffer
. Y
ou can specify between 1 and 16 Kbytes, in 1–Kbyte
increments.
