Resetting the Network Interface Card
When your network interface card does not work properly, you
need to reboot the card.

Press
Menu
until “Sys. Admin Tools” appears.

Press the scroll buttons until “Network Setup” appears on
the bottom line of the display then press
Enter
.

Press the scroll buttons until “Reset NIC” appears and press
Enter
.

Press the scroll buttons
to select “Yes” and press
Enter
.
To cancel restoring, select “No.”

To return to Standby mode, press
Stop/Clear
.
Configuring Network
Configuring TCP/IP
Your printer can be set up on a variety of TCP/IP networks. There
are two ways that your printer can be assigned a TCP/IP
address, depending on your network:
• Static Addressing: TCP/IP address is assigned manually by
the system administrator.
• Dynamic Addressing BOOTP/DHCP (default): TCP/IP address
is assigned automatically by the server.
Static Addressing
To enter the TCP/IP address from your printer’s control panel,
take the following steps:

Press the scroll buttons until “Config Network” appears and

Use the scroll buttons until “TCP/IP” displays on the bottom

to access the menu.
