4.4 HDD
Removing the HDD
The following describes the procedure for removing the HDD (See Figure 4-5 to 4-7).
CAUTION: Take care not to press on the top or bottom of a HDD. Pressure may cause
data loss or damage to the device.
1. Turn the computer upside down.
2. Loosen the following screw (with e-ring) and remove the HDD-1 slot cover.
3. Remove the following screw securing the HDD-1 assembly.
M2.5×6B FLAT BIND screw ×
4. With holding the tab of the HDD-1 assembly, lift HDD-1 assembly straight up and
away from the connector on the system board.
