(5) Gift Card Refund
This operation is performed for canceling a transaction by a Gift Card.

NOTES: 1. Receipt post-issue operation ([RECEIPT ISSUE] key) after finalizing a sale by a gift card is
unavailable.
2. Key operations on the ECR is unavailable during an inquiry at the HOST.
3. Data of the customer receipt is printed on the journal, but that of the customer receipt 2 is not.
4. Whether to issue a customer receipt 2 automatically or manually is selectable by the program
option.
5. An Endorsement Print can be performed.
6. Up to 4 multi-tendering operations or split-tendering operations are possible when finalizing a sale
transaction with the [Gift Card Media] key. The 5th operation will result in an error. At this time,
the sale finalization operation is possible only when using the [AT/TL] key or the media keys with
the status “without FET process”.
7. Whether to issue a store receipt is selectable by the EFT key status setting.
8. At tendering in Foreign currency, pressing the [Gift Card Media] key results in an error.
9. When automatic issuance of receipt has been programmed, only the customer receipt 2 is issued
after registering in the Receipt OFF mode. When manual issuance of receipt has been
programmed, only the customer receipt 2 is issued with the [STORE RECEIPT] key.
10. A multiplication of the [Gift Card Media] key is not available.
11. When it is programmed to issue the customer receipt 2 manually, a next transaction, programming,
or read/reset operation is not allowed until the customer receipt 2 is issued.
12. Validation print operation after finalizing a sale transaction by the gift card is possible.
13. Over-tendering with a Gift Card is not allowed.
14. When an error is responded from the EFT terminal, an abnormal termination message will be
printed on the journal.
15. When no response is returned from the EFT terminal and the operation results in a timeout, “NO
RESPONS” will be displayed on the upper row of the operator display.
