2. When a PLU code is assigned to a PLU Preset-code Key on the ECR Keyboard in the
operation on the preceding page, the Hardware Key Code which indicates the absolute
location of the key will be printed to the left of the assigned PLU Code. The Hardware Key
Codes of the ECR keyboards of Ordinary Type and Flat Type are shown on the next page.
