Operation LCD Display Remarks
Make sure the cursor is shown on
01CUR1. Then, input 1.20 and
depress the [Enter] key.
The exchange rate from $ to
is set on the
[CUR1] key.
While ? is shown on the upper-right corner
of the LCD display screen, the [?] key
depression results in that the following
guidance message appears on the LCD
display.
Make sure the cursor is shown on
02CUR2. Then, input 1.3774 and
depress the [Enter] key.
The exchange rate from $ to Japan Yen is
set on the [CUR2] key.
Depress the [] key twice.
The cursor is moved on to “05CUR5”.
Make sure the cursor is shown on
05CUR5.
The [End] key depression allows the
ECR to end this setting.
A long receipt is issued and the display
returns to Main Menu screen.
Resetting a Foreign Currency Rate Once Set
Input 0 in place of the Exchange Rate for the Foreign Currency in the setting operation. Then the rate for that
foreign currency will be reset. The rate of the Foreign Currency Key thus reset cannot be used in sales entries.
