NOTE: Depending on the date of manufacture, your Zebra 105SL
printer may be equipped with either a DB25 serial connector or a
DB9 serial connector.

The method of interfacing this printer to a data source depends on the
communication options installed in the printer. Following are the standard
interfaces for a DB25 and a DB9 serial interface connector:
The optional ZebraNet
®
PrintServer II enables printers to be connected to
10Base-T Ethernet networks. In addition, the IBM
®
Twinax or IBM Coax
option is available for those applications that require them.
NOTE: If you have the DB9 serial interface connector, RS-422
and RS-485 serial data ports are available through an adapter.

When communicating via an asynchronous serial data port (refer to
Figure 12 for a DB25 serial interface connector and Figure 13 for a DB9
serial interface connector), the baud rate, number of data and stop bits,
parity, and handshaking are user selectable. Parity only applies to data
transmitted by the printer since the parity of received data is ignored.
