Setting Up Groups for Broadcasting
Groups allow you to send the same fax message to many fax numbers by pressing only five keys
(Search/Speed Dial, #, the two-digit location, and Mono Fax Start). First, you will need to
store each fax number as a Speed Dial number. (See Storing Speed Dial Numbers, page 20) Then,
you can combine them into a Group. Each Group uses up a Speed Dial number. Finally, you can have
up to 6 small Groups, or you can assign up to 39 numbers to one large Group.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 3, 2.

Press Search/Speed Dial, and then enter the two-
digit location where you wish to store the Group
number, and then press Menu/Set.
(For example, press Search/Speed Dial, 07.)

Use the dial pad to enter the Group Number (for example, press 1 for Group 1).

Press Menu/Set. To include Speed Dial numbers in
the Group, enter the Speed Dial locations one after the
other by pressing Search/Speed Dial and then the
two digit Speed Dial number (e.g. 05) on the dial pad.
For example, for Speed Dial location 05 and 09, press Search/Speed Dial, 0, 5 and
Search/Speed Dial, 0, 9 on the dial pad.

Press Menu/Set. The screen prompts you to enter a name.

Use the dial pad to enter a name for the group (up to 15 characters) (for example, NEW
CLIENTS) and press Menu/Set. (See Entering Text, page 159)

Press Stop/Exit.
Cancelling a Job While Scanning the Document
You can cancel a job while you are scanning it into memory by pressing Stop/Exit.
Checking and Cancelling a Scheduled Job in Memory
You can check or cancel a job that is waiting in memory.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 6.
Any waiting jobs appear on the display. If nothing is waiting, the screen displays NO JOB
WAITING.

If you have more than one job waiting, use or to select the job you want to cancel.
Press Menu/Set when the screen displays your selectionORIf you have only one job
waiting, go to Step 3.

Press 1 to cancelORPress 2 to exit without cancelling.
To cancel another job, return to Step 2.

Press Stop/Exit.
You can print a list of all Speed Dial numbers. Group numbers will be marked in
the column of “GROUP”. (See Printing Reports, page 32)
