Adjusting the Color Tone/Brightness Using Negative Film
When you copy negative film, adjust the color tone (density of yellow, magenta, and cyan) and brightness (quantity of
light) according to the table below. However, even when you use the same type of film, you must use different settings
depending on the way the original picture is taken or developed. If you cannot make copies as you want, perform
adjustment.
You can also use the “Color Balance Adjustment” function of the copier to correct slight color difference.
See page 124.
The following table uses these values to indicate the color tone and brightness levels (the crosshatched values ( )
are the default settings):
