Saddle Stitching Unit

Open the lower cover of the finisher.

Slide out the saddle stitching unit carefully toward
the front.

Pull out the grip of the saddle stitch holder toward
you and turn it 90 degrees clockwise.

Remove the empty staple case and set a new one.
• Replace both staple cases with new ones.

Return the saddle stitch holder and the saddle
stitching unit to their respective original positions.

Make sure that the finisher is attached to the copier
firmly and that either of A3, B4 or A4-R size of pa-
per is set in the copier.
• If any of the above paper sizes is not set, test stapling can-
not be performed. Set either A3, B4 or A4-R size of paper.

Close the lower finisher cover. Then, test stapling
is automatically carried out on a blank sheet.
• This operation is carried out to avoid empty stitching.
