5.2.7 Communication Settings
The Communication Settings parameters allow you to set the baud rate, parity,
stop bit, and data length for the first serial port. The values for this parameter
are:
• Baud rate : 110 to 9600 bits per second (bps)
• Parity : odd, even, or none
• Stop bit : 1 or 2 stop bits
• Data length : 7- or 8-bit data word
The baud rate maximum value 9600 bps
applies only to POST under UNIX
environment. The system I/O chipset
SMC 37C665 supports up to 115.2K bps.
