Chapter 3 Configuring Devices
Using the Templates
Step 2 Select the template you want to delete from the Existing Templates box, then click
Delete. A window appears asking if you want to delete the template.
Note You cannot delete a template if it used in a scheduled job.
Step 3 Click OK to delete it.
Importing a Template
Use this option to import a configuration to the WLSE, either from a file or from
a device. You can import files from devices that are not managed by the WLSE.
Note Your login determines whether you can use this option.
Procedure
Step 1 Select Configure > Templates. The Templates dialog box appears.
Step 2 Click Import. The Import Template window appears.
Step 3 Complete the following:
Field Description
Template Name
Enter a name for the template.
Description
Enter a description for the template
From file
Enter the template filename or browse to find
the file, then click Import.
From device (IP Address)
Enter a device name or IP address, then click
Import.
