NOTES
• If auto sleep interferes with your copying operations,
turn this function OFF. However, it is recommended
that you try to set a longer time interval until auto
sleep engages before you actually turn it OFF.
• If you want to quit the displayed setting without
changing it, press the “Back” key. The touch panel will
return to the screen in step 2.

Press the “Close” key.
The touch panel will return to the screen in step 2.

Press the “Close” key once again.
The touch panel will return to the “Default setting” screen.

Press the “End” key.
The touch panel will return to the contents of the “Basic”
tab.
Color/B&W Mix [Colour/B&W Mix]
Use the following steps to select the priority mode when copying
documents that mix color and monochrome.

Display the “Machine default” screen.
(See “Accessing the machine default settings” on
page 7-45.)

Select mixed color/monochrome from the menu items on the
left, and then press the “Change #” key. This displays the
“Color/B&W Mix” [“Colour/B&W Mix”] screen.
