Using IBM SPSS Modeler with a Repository
Other Deployment Options
While IBM SPSS Collaboration and De ployment Services offers the most extensive features for
managing enterprise content, a number of other mechanisms for deployin g or exporting streams
are also ava ilable, including:
Export the stream and model for later use with IBM® SPSS® Modeler Solution Publisher
Runtime.
Export one or more mod els in PMML, an XML-b ased format for enc
oding model informa tion.

on p. 196.
Connecting to the Repository
E To connect to the repository, on the IBM® SPSS® Modeler main menu, click:
Tools > Repository > Options...
E Specify login options as required.
Settings are specic to each site or installation. For specic port and other login details, contact
your local system administrator.
Note: A separate license is required to access an IBM® SPSS®
Collabor ation and Deployment Services repository. For more information, see

Repository.
The r epositor y installation you want to access. Generally, this matches the name of the
host server where the repository is in stalled. You can connect to only one repository at a time.
Port.
The port used to host the co nnection, typically 8080 by default.
Set Credentials.
Leave this box unchecked to enable the single sign-on feature, which attempts
to log you in using your local computer username and password details. If single sign-on is
not possible, or if you check this box to disable single sign-on (for example, to log in to an
administrator account), a further screen is displayed for you to enter your credentials.
