Ensure secure connection.
Species whether a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection should
be used. SSL is
a commonly used protocol for securing data sent over a ne twork. To use this
feature, SSL must be enabled on the server hostin g the repository. If necessary, contact your
local administrator for details.
Entering Credentials for the Repository

User ID and password.
Specify a valid user name and password for logging on. If necessa r y,
contact your local administrator for more information.
Provider.
Choose a security provider for authentication. The re pository can be congured to use
different security provid ers; if necessary, contact your local administrator for more information.
Remember repository and user ID.
Saves the current settings as the default so that you do not have
to reenter them each time you want to connect.
Browsing the Repository Contents
The rep ository allows you to browse store d content in a mann er simila r to Windows Ex plorer; you
can also browse versions of each stored object.
E To open the IBM® SPSS® Collaboration and De ployment Services Repository window, on the
SPSS Mod eler menus click:
Tools > Repository > Explore...

details, contact your local system administrator.
