IBM SPSS Modeler Overview
Getting Started
As a data mining application, IBM® SPSS® M odeler offers a strategic approach to finding useful
relationships in large data sets. In contrast to more traditi onal statistical methods, you do not
necessarily need to know what you are looking for when you start. You can explore your dat a,
fitting different models and investigating d ifferent relationships, until you find useful informat ion.
Starting IBM SPSS Modeler
To start the app lic ation, click:
Start > [All] Programs > IBM SPSS Modeler15 > IBM SPSS Modeler15
The main window is displayed after a few s econds.
