1 In the Control Panel, double-Click the System icon.
The System Properties window opens.
2 Click the Device Manager tab.
3 Double-click PCMCIA Socket.
4 Click PCIC or compatible PCMCIA controller.
5 Click Remove.
A removal confirmation window opens.
6 Click OK.
The System Settings Change window opens.
7 Remove the Network Drivers Disk from the floppy drive.
8 Click Yes to restart the computer.
When you restart the computer the first time after removing the PCIC
device, you will be prompted to select a driver. Choose Do not install a
driver. This prompt is not displayed again.
