3. Click the desired map image file, and then click Open.
The map image appears in the list of VMX200 maps and can be loaded by
clicking Open from the Maps dialog box,
OR
creating a link from another map; refer to Create a Link to Another Site Map Image.
4. Click Cancel to close the Maps dialog box.
Delete a Map Image
1. In the Maps dialog box, click the desired map file.
2. Click Delete. The Confirm Map Delete dialog box appears.
3. Click OK.
NOTE: This delete operation cannot be reversed. However, the file is only removed from the VMX210 system, not from the computer’s hard
drive. If you delete a file accidentally, you must import it into VMX200 again. Refer to Import a Site Map Image.
Rename a Map Image
This action changes the name assigned to the map within VMX200, but does not change the image file name.
1. In the Maps dialog box, click the desired map file.
2. Click Rename. The Map Rename dialog box appears.
3. Type the new name, and then click OK.
Create a Default Map Image
Each user can specify the specific start-up map to be displayed when the user logs into the system. Refer to the User Environment Options
section for more information.
Open a Map Image
1. In the Maps dialog box, click the desired map file.
2. 2. Click Open. The selected map image appears on the main map window.
3. 3. Click Close.
Change Map Icon Default Colors
VMX200 provides an option to modify the default color for each device-type icon used in a site map.
1. In the Maps dialog box, click the desired map file.
2. In the Default Icon Colors section of the Maps dialog box, select the desired device-type icon from the device drop-down box.
