Cut and Paste a Sequence Event
To cut and paste an event line to a new position, select the event, and then select Copy or Cut. Click the event line that is to follow the
copied event, and then select Paste Insert.
Delete a Sequence Event
If you copy an event, you must delete the original event to avoid duplication. Click the original event, and then select Delete.
Edit Sequence Properties
a. Select an event, and then click Properties. The Event Details dialog box appears.
OR
Double-click the event.
b. Edit the properties as necessary.
3. When finished, save the changes and close the Sequence Editor window.
Rename a Sequence
1. From the Sequences dialog box, select a sequence from the list, and then click Rename.
2. Type a new name, and then click OK.
Delete a Sequence
1. From the Sequences dialog box, select a sequence from the list, and then click Delete.
2. Click OK to confirm the deletion. Note that the delete action cannot be reversed.
CONFIGURE MACROS
Macros provide a means of specifying a combination of system events, which can include the following devices or actions:
Camera switch
Sequence
Image capture (as an event in a sequence)
Monitors
Recording devices
Macros can be triggered either manually or in response to an alarm event.
For example, in response to a door alarm, the system can trigger a macro that executes the following commands:
Three cameras move to presets that focus on the area indicated by the door alarm.
The system displays these images on three specified monitors.
Start a sequence with image capture.
Direct a VCR to start recording one of the cameras.
Open the Macros Dialog Box
1. Select Automation > Macros from the site map window menu bar.

Right-click the site map window, and then select Macros from the pop-up menu.
