Point Logic: The point logic tells the system if the auxiliary point is normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). This is
used as the basis for sending appropriate control signals to the camera.
Momentary: Check this box to set the auxiliary point for momentary control.
5. Click OK to close the Edit Point Properties dialog box.
6. Click OK to close the Auxiliaries dialog box.
Refer to Operate Camera Auxiliaries in the Operation section for more information on controlling camera auxiliaries.
CONFIGURE INPUT/OUTPUT POINTS
VMX200 supports contact closure alarms and relay outputs from external units such as the CM9760-ALM and CM9760-REL. (VMX200 does not
support camera alarms or video loss alarms.)
Configure the alarm input points and relay output points by completing the following steps from the site map window:
1. Select Configure > Input/Output Points from the menu bar. The Digital I/O Devices dialog box appears.
2. Select the device from the list of system devices, and then click OK. The Input/Output Points dialog box for the specific device appears.

NOTE: The input/output point number used in VMX200 refers to the physical alarm input or relay contact number on the rear panel of the
interface unit. VMX200 does not use the GPI numbers associated with relay contacts on the relay interface unit, or the alarm group numbers
associated with the alarm inputs on the alarm interface unit.
