Note: The optional 2,000 sheet paper feeder is available only for
20 ppm printers. It cannot be used on printers that have the
2400 dpi or NEIT upgrade installed.
Installing the 2,000 Sheet Feeder
1. Unpack the 2,000 sheet feeder from the shipping carton.
Remove all plastic, tape, and stabilizing materials. Save the
carton and packing material to use for storing the feeder.
The package should contain the following items:
• Feeder unit • 2 Footers • 2 IOT screws (fig. 10.11)
• 4 Allen screws (fig. 10.8) • Allen screwdriver
2. Lock the casters on the front of the feeder by pressing down
the lever on each outside caster (fig. 10.5).

3. Install both footers using the following procedure.
