3-3. Shut-down Operation
Following the procedure below to shut down the device.
(1) Touch [OPERATION OFF] on the control panel.
(2) The confirm screen of OPERATION OFF appears.
Different conrm screens appear when the START TIMER is
set to ON and when not set.
When START TIMER is not set to ON;
If START TIMER is not set to ON, when you touch [OPERA-
TION OFF] on the normal screen, the conrm screen on the
right appears.
(1) Touch [OK] to perform OPERATION OFF, then the
message shown on the lower-right appears.
Touching [CANCEL] will go back to the normal screen.
(2) The device will be shut down in approx. 2 hours,
and the display on the control panel will go off.
The FILTER fan functions for approx. 2 hours until the HPRO
(heat processing) section is cooled down. During that time, the
backlight of the control panel fades out.
CAUTION
Be sure to check that PRINT QUEUE shows
"000" before performing the shut-down operation.
If you shut down the device when PRINT QUEUE
shows any number other than "000", the remain-
ing data that has not printed yet will be printed
out next time the device starts up.
IMPORTANT
When you need to print out some data during
shut-down operation, touch [CANCEL] to go back
to the normal screen.
