Option 70 — Serial Interface/ Protocol Selection
Two fundamental protocols, basic RS–232 and current loop are available for
transferring data across the interface. Three character–oriented protocols can
be used in combination with the fundamental protocols: XON/XOFF,
ACK/NAK, and ETX/ACK.
