RemovingtheHardDrive
Topreventlossofdataanddamagetothedisk,
donotremovetheharddrivewhilethe
computer’spowerisonanddonotdroporjar
theharddrive.
Toremovetheharddrivefromthecomputer:
1. Ifyouareinstallinganewharddrive,backuptheapplication
anddatafilesontheoldharddrivebeforeremovingitfromthe
computer.
2. Turnthecomputer’spoweroff.
3. ClosetheLCDpanel,andturnthecomputeroversothatthe
bottomoftheunitfacesup.
4. Removethescrewthatholdstheharddriveinplace(Figure16).
